Great KY Music Venues

Kentucky’s a great place to take in some live music so set your wireless alarm systems and head out to one of the state’s best live music venues! Here are three of our all-time favorites:
Headliner’s Music Hall – Located in Louisville, Headliner’s has been around for years and it’s all about the music, less about the atmosphere. If you’re looking for blues or jazz or even some occasional rock/alt bands this is a great place to hang around.
Madison Theater – Located in historic Covington, Kentucky, Madison Theater has all kinds of acts suited for everyone from the kids on up. The music acts here are varied, mostly falling in the classic blues category, but there’s a wide array of shows here any given week. Check the website for the latest shows and times.
Mama Duke’s – Louisville’s very own Mama Duke’s is a legend – it’s the place to go for cheap beer, indoor smoking and a great time. This place is so old school it doesn’t even have a website – the type of acts you’ll find here reflect this mentality.
